Who We Are
Dane Boyles, founder of Beyond All Borders, has obeyed his call to mission work. He and his wife, Liz, served as missionaries for five years in Ecuador (1992-1997). They moved back to the United States in 1997 where Dane has served as a university professor, an evangelist and preaching minister. During the past eleven years, while preaching, he has also taught weekly indepth Bible classes to a ministerial training program in Monterrey, Mexico. At the same time he has continued to travel to Ecuador three to four times a year to teach in an Institute of Biblical Studies (Instituto Teologico de Cuenca) which he helped found while living there. He has also had the privilege to travel to several locations in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Cuba to teach classes and speak at international lectureships and national seminars.
During these travels precious relationships have been built with those living with their consequences to sin such as unwed mothers and their children. Part of this ministry is loving them where they are at, teaching them how to focus on the life Christ has called them to live, and providing aid to them for living everyday life.
Dane has earned bachelors (1986), masters (1989), and doctor of philosophy (1993) degrees in Spanish from Texas Tech University; has graduated from the Sunset International Bible Institute (1993) in Lubbock, Texas; has a master of theological studies degree from Bethany Theological Seminary (1997); a master of arts degree in Religion from Abilene Christian University (2004); a master of science degree in Bible and ministry from Lubbock Christian University (2006) and a doctor of ministry degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Dane is a licensed clinical Christian counselor, licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association.
Dane and his wife, Liz, reside in Leander, Texas (an Austin suburb) with their four children. Dane is preaching minister at the Leander Church of Christ at Crystal Falls. Liz is a real estate agent with Synterra Properties and stays busy at home with the children and in various areas at church and school.
